The Invention of Hugo Cabret (Brian Selznick)

This week comes from the book The Invention of Hugo Cabret (and movie titled, “Hugo”)

“I address you all tonight for who you truly are: wizards, mermaids, travelers, adventurers, and magicians. You are the true dreamers.”
-Brian Selznick, The Invention of Hugo Cabret

Love this quote! It sounds very, mystical and imaginative. With your imagination, you can create, dream up anything you want. And Brian Selznick addresses the audience in a way that tells you the character believes in you, the audience.  The book is great, filled mostly with pictures (awesome art) and a few pages of words (I hear that’s his style for all his books, or most of them), the movie is great as well, although it may seem slow to some.
Have a great week (and Father’s day)! I shall be back next week, if not before!
